Thursday morning, October 18th - 10:00 A.M. - 11:30 A.M.

The tour covers a 16-block area in downtown San Diego and highlights the largest collection of restored Victorian style commercial buildings on the west coast.Your guide will vividly recreate the late 1800’s, when the city near the waterfront fell into disrepair and the “Stingaree” district flourished. As you admire the many eclectic architectural styles, you’ll discover the haunts of famous former resident, Wyatt Earp, learn about the marketing secrets of the naughty ladies of the “Stingaree,” and the significance of the colored marbles. You can choose from more than 60 restaurants for a later lunch or dinner. Cost: $15.00 (meals not included).

Nutrition Interactive Workshop - Diane Machcinski, M.Ed., R.D., Board Certified Nutritionist Are you frustrated with the latest diet craze? Come, learn, and develop your own plan using the latest information on nutrition and healthy eating based on scientific research. Cost: $50.00 includes refreshments.

In the 1950’s, Bronx family ties are strained when a couple must decide on giving their only daughter the grand wedding they never had. The cast is headed by Tony-Award winner Faith Prince (Guys and Dolls) as the mother of the bride and Fierstein as Uncle Winston. Based on the teleplay by three-time Academy Award-winner Paddy Chayefsky (Marty) , this Broadway-bound musical is funny, heartwarming and uplifting for audiences of all ages.
